can't connect to 3G network

My LG Optimus V won't connect to the 3G network I'm using on the Sprint network via my Virgin Mobile plan. I have turned the phone off and back on and also taken out the battery. Help?

If turning the phone off and back on again didn't work, you're screwed.
That fixes everything.
But in all seriousness, hit up the Optimus V forums, or Rooting ROMs and hacks if you're rooted.
