Cant connect to 4G in nyc.

Who cares about Brooklyn or Queen? Sheesh.



Anyway, here in New York City (aka "Manhattan") there's no 4G service, as confirmed by Sprint tech support (one of my co-workers went across the street to the Sprint store to complain). Not sure why the network is down, but down it is.

PS - And yes, WiMax connectivity is sketchy -- in all five boroughs. I wonder how LTE is on Verizon...

Ha very funny. How do you like your rent? ;-) I rather enjoy my 2bdrm with a cathedral ceilings and waterview (my reason for living in queens)

Anyway, last time I checked 4g in manhattan, I had great 4G on the avenues but it dropped off and died on the side streets.. this was around noho IIRC.

WiMax has been pretty reliable in areas where it works. I can't complain. It either seems to work well, or not at all.

I did notice that WiMax is HORRIBLE though when moving in a car (I wasn't the driver... have no fear.. ). 3G did much better at switching between cells and maintaining coverage.
