can't create contact in phone

I've tried numerous times to create a new contact in the phone. I can add a name but then when I tab to the phone number box the dial pad is not visible. If I click on the + sign next to Home or Mobile the dial pad still cannot be seen.

Your new contact won't show up until your phone contacts sync with your Google acct contacts ...... that might take some time before it happens. If you want to speed up the process, try this...

Go to - Settings App, Accounts, Google, More, then tap 'sync now' and you'll see the new contact on your phone right away.

In Accounts you will also notice the last time that Google Contacts were sync'd. Chances are they hadn't been sync'd yet, so the contact was not appearing on your phone, even though you had already added it.

That's assuming that the contact type is Google - which it always should be (even though the default is "device").
