If i go to the messages app, this was the default app that was installed for my samsung galaxy j3 orbit. In messages, if i select a message thread, hit the 3 button menu in the top right, go to shared content, it lists my content, but if i select any of them, only option is to save them. I need to delete them because dialer storage is about 1GB right now haha.

thansk

Hi, before you go to message field you can long press a message to delete that way or if you want delete certain ones in a message thread long press it and select the ones u want deleted

thats going to take a very very very long time to delete 900 and something files that way..There should be another way?

multiple people. Not every text message was a picture or media file from my friends or family. I do not want to delete all the messages, just the media they sent via sms because my dialer storage is 1.2GB right now. I dont want to scroll through all the texts trying to find media files and deleting them one by one. the issue is, when i go to the shared content folder, it lets me highlight all the images easily, but only option is to save them, rather than delete them:)

Ok when you open that person message , tap the 3 dots upper right corner then choose attachment and delete the one u dont want
