Can't download images to pictures

[AC Question]

When I try save an image to my phone, the icon at the top that says (save to device or pictures) does not show. Will not download to my images.

That's odd..when I want to save an image, like from the internet, I touch it and select download ..or sometimes I do a screenshot.. ..these are saved to my Gallery and I pull them up in either the download or screenshot albums..pictures taken on the phone of course go to the camera roll folder ..not saying this will work for you but it works great on this droid Maxx.. Good luck with it in any case..
