Directions I was going to try. Calibration of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Compass 1. Open the phone app and there the keypad. 2. Now enter the following code: *#0*# This will now open the test menu of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. 3. Tap on the area with "Sensor" and scroll down to the bottom of the next menu. 4. You now see "Magnetic Sensor" and below it a circle with a line and a number behind it. This has the following meaning: Red line with a 0 = The compass sensor must be calibrated Blue line with a 3 = The magnetic sensor is calibrated To calibrate the compass, rotates the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 once around all three axes. Do this until the circle shows a blue line and a 3. Only then is your compass calibrated. Then the compass app will show the correct direction again. Now you know the procedure to calibrate the integrated magnetic sensor and the compass function with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. :(

Yeah some carriers block secret codes in phone menu, but I'm surprised this one is blocked.
