can't find apps that were hidden after update

I hid some applications on my s4 before the 4.3 update now I can't find them but if I go in the play store it says they are installed

Did you hide them in the App Manager, or did you disable them from the App Settings?

I just hit the button to the left of my phone that looks like a list and I hit hide applications and clickcked the ones I wanted to hide.....sorry I'm new to android so I'm still learning

Apparently a bug (this is a "me-too" post). AT&T pulled the update. Wonder how many other bugs there may be.
