Can't find option to delete Google Search Bar history

I think that I reviewed all of the instructions on my Galaxy S8+, but I can't delete the search history that appears below my Google Search Bar, as in the screenshot. I think that I tried sll of the instructions in Settings>Google>Personal info & privacy, including Search Settings>Search History. Still, the history below my bar or on the Google web page remains. It does not appear, however, if I go to Google.com through Firefox. Did I miss something? Thanks.

Those are trends right? You can turn those off in google settings.

Thanks! Thats's it...Settings>Autocomplete>Show Trending Stories>on/off
