Can't get it to re-pair with my Pixel

I had to redo my Pixel, and the Wear app won't see my watch. How do I get the watch back in pairing mode to set it back up without going back to factory defaults? I tried just searching for bluetooth devices in connectivity, but they're both seeing other devices, but not each other.

Unfortunately you have to do a reset on the watch.

Thanks for confirming that. That was my suspicion, but I couldn't bring myself to think that was the only way. Oddly, I had to do it twice. The first time I just ended up in a "You're all set" loop.
