Can't get my email to work

Hoping someone can help me. My email will not work anymore with the data download but will only work with the wifi on my phone. is there a way i can fix this?

Are you using the stock email app? Have you tried using a different one?

I am using twc roadrunner. It used to work just fine with the 3g. Now it will only work with a wifi connection. i tried changing the password, soft reset, etc. It won't connect and is locked on checking incoming server settings with the blue bar.
