Can't get radio apps to work

Hi,
Just got a new tab 3 (7 inch) Android 4.2; I can't get any radio apps to work.(I've tried tunein and 4 others)... they all cut out or have buffering problems after only a few minutes. It's not my wifi, as all other devices connected to the same modem run radio apps without any probs. In all other respects the tab works well... so why can't it stream?

Please help.
This is driving me crazy!

Check your settings for the kbps of the stream on your device. Lower quality may be needed, baised on your pipe. Your other devices may be doing this automatically.

Test, dose it happin with Pandora radio at all?

I will give Pandora a try this evening... haven't heard of it before. with Tunein, i tried choosing the lowest kbps rates, and still had the same problem.

I had problems with tunein too.
Its cool. But alot of the feeds are subpar.

Pandora should work good.
