Can't get YouTube to work

When I click on any video link from inside the app it says this action is not allowed. When I try to search for anything it says this list is not available. Nothing comes up no matter what I search for.
I'm using wifi so it can't be a signal issue. I went in and cleared the app cache and data and nothing changed.
I am rooted and using Wicked Sensations ROM.
