Cant install APK on Bobzhome rom!!!

ok ima going to try to get str8 to the point here...
i want to install LauncherProPlus on my phone but
when i try to install via apk on sdcard, it WILL NOT install!
WHY? and how can i install it?

androidversion:2.3.7 CM7.1.0.1 and latest BobZhome

**This rom has launcherprofree already built in...
is that why it wont install Plus?

Download Titanium backup, then download a spare launcher, such as ADW. Uninstall Launcher Pro with Titanium backup, then install LPP. *Have Spare just incase uninstalling it causes fail actions*

so i uninstalled Launcher Pro with Titanium backup
tried looking for LLP but couldnt find it...
i hit the home button and pretty much screwed it all up...
the screen was black and couldnt do anything but play with the notification bar...
im starting from scratch again...

You forgot to have a backup launcher. xD

i uninstalled LauncherPro and then i hit the home key...
noticed it switched over to the ADW Launcher...
Then i went to my sdcard and pressed on the LLP apk but it still didt install it...
could it be the apk itself?

Did you select Unknown Sources under applications in settings before trying to install from APK?

Reboot, or try a file manager to make sure the original LauncherPro is fully gone.

yes i clicked unknown sources before i downloaded the apk...
the files downloaded fine (yes FILES i have like 10 just to be sure)

Tried checking to see if LauncherPro was fully unistalled from system
but i couldnt find anything...(ill just have to trust Titanium Backup)

**Im wondering if theres any way to flash the app to the phone from recovery...
any other ideas guyz?​

Think ill just stick with the free one for now...
all i want is that back calender widget *sigh*
i flashed a rom that had it but i dont remember which one..

Download to desktop and modify using winrar or 7 zip.

try BACKside rom. bobszhome always gave me stupid little problems like this that I tried so hard to figure out.

bobzhome rom and mrg666s rom has never worked correctly on my phone, BACKside has though. suggest trying it

i extracted the file on my desktop so now i see everything but i dont know what you mean by modify...i see the widgets that i want but not sure how to get it working on my phone since its an xml file...

** im going to try to use root explorer to move the widget files over to system...
hopefully itll do something...

Bobzhomes work the fastest for me, mrg is stable, backside gives me notification bar problems upon changing themez. The bar stays black till a notification pops up such as usb, cyanogen statistics
