Can't Link Contacts to Facebook

I am having issues linking facebook profiles to my contacts When i choose a contact and click on the "Link" icon, i select "Link facebook Profile"... The problem is that none of my facebook contacts are loading and it says "No matches found"

I also tried using Facebook Sync app but that doesnt seem to be working correctly either. Anyone else having this problem?

I once sync'd my FB for sense when i got the phone and heard about it being buggy so i stopped using it. However i was trying to just link contacts i had to FB contacts like your atempting. even if i forced a sync the new FB contact accounts would not appear. I just deleted FB for sense account and re-added. It worked for linking new contact but as far as FB for sense working as a constant, its not recommended.

i tried closing the fb sense account and re-opening but to no avail.
