Cant make alarm clock icon go away

[AC Question]

Was using a sony z5 and alarm icon didnt go away even when there was no alarms set. Tried to find where it was coming from but gave up since i was going to change my phone. Just gotten a galaxy S8 for 2 days and the alarm icon is back when i have not touched any alarm applications. Help im annoyed.

Find my friends. The tracking app. No idea why it triggers the alarm icon tho

Oh ya the alarm icon only appeared after a few months using the app. Like randomly, cause i dont touch anything in it.

This worked for me: open settings/ Google settings/ Location/ Then I looked at recent location requests. Then I began selecting Force Stop for each program until the alarm icon went away. That helped me identify which program is responsible. After that you can open the offending program and adjust the settings, or simply disable or uninstall. Hope that helps!

Yes. Cracked it. Go to clock app and remove all alarms. Then restart phone. Bingo.

Mine was barometer plus. I did the Google location thing and started force stopping apps and when I force stopped barometer plus it went away. Weird.
