Can't make calls using Google Voice

I had this problem with my Galaxy S3 as well. When I want to make a call with my Google Voice number, I change the Voice settings either to use Voice for all calls or to ask each time I make a call. With the former, calls still display my regular number. With the latter, it doesn't ask me like it's supposed to and just makes the call with my regular number.

Any ideas why this is happening? I previously tried uninstalling/reinstalling with the S3 but always had this problem. With my MyTouch4G, it worked fine.

Did you change your google voice number to a new one or did you just sync the number to the google voice.

Sounds like you are talking about 2 different things here. One is the call displayed and the other is the line/method of connection.
