can't move scrapbook files from note 5 to note 8

Hi everyone! I had a Note 5 and relied heavily on the scrapbook feature to collect references. I got a Note 8 a couple days ago, synced everything BUT the scrapbook files. I used 'smart switch' and 'samsung cloud' to move all of my data over to my new phone but it won't seem to work. Just now I tried clicking on and off scrapbook under settings> Cloud and accounts> samsung cloud> Scrapbook, and it seems to have loaded all of the folders with their correct names, but the content is still missing. Please help me out! Thanks!
**Also, I'm aware that the scrapbook app was not available from the beginning, so I got it through 'galaxy apps'.

One alternative way to do this, would be to download carbon/helium from clockworkmod in the playstore and back it up on your old phome, copy the files over and restore it on the new phone... should work if it allows you to back it up

I did cloud sync and it worked fine for me.

This happened with my s note files when moving from note 5 to 8. Luckily I still had my note 5 at the time. For some reason the notes synced with Evernote. I can't remember exactly the steps I took but I think I changed the syncing from Evernote to Samsung whatever. I love scrapbook too and thought it was such an underrated and misunderstood feature. Don't understand why it wasn't included in the note 8.

Sync to Samsung cloud on the Note 5, then sync the same on Note8.

I did this yesterday and it worked fine.

I just went back to look at this. I don't have the Note 5 any longer to see that side but I've always kept Scrapbook in sync on Samsung cloud. On the Note8 you have an import option.

Syncing to samsung cloud was the first thing I did. The scrapbook files were the only thing that didn't transfer over.

Then I'm not remembering the exact process. I opened scrapbook on my Note8 this morning and pulled all the files from Samsung cloud that were on my Note 5.

Thanks to EVERYONE for this thread. I thought on my Note 8 I had lost scrapbook forever. One of my bestest apps of all time.

PS: all I had to do was download scrapbook from Samsung and configure app to download w/out WiFi. My scrapbook was populated immediately.

Another way which is very simple, just enter into any catagory, select the files export as SCC Files then Open SCC file saved location which will be most probably in MY Files then Scrapbook Folder, There you can find the Exported File,
1. Select the file
2. click on right top 3 vertical dots option
3. click on ZIP
4 ZIP folder will be created
5 Select The ZIP folder n simple upload on your Google Drive
6. Open same google drive in your note 8/9
7. download the file and UNZIP
8. Click on UNZIP file it will ask you the location
9. create a the same category and save the file in it, here you go....
