Cant move the app to sd card

Hello guys please help . I have jalaxy j7 perx with 16 gb internal storage and San disk class 10 32 gb SD card running oreo 8.1. when i try to move some apps to the SD card the progress bar finishes without errors; but I found out that the apps didn't move at all. My internal storage is still full and the obb data are still there. There is an obb folder in the external SD for every app I moved but its empty with 0mb . I have tried formatting the card but the problem persists. Any ideas please?

Welcome to Android Central! Moving apps to SD typically doesn't move a very big part of the app there. If it's really important to you, you could try this method to format the card as Internal Storage: https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-format-microsd-cards-as-internal-storage. However, be aware that since SD cards are inherently much less reliable than internal storage, using the card in that way increases the risk of major system crashes and data loss.
