When I long press the power button to power down my phone reboots.

That was a problem quite a few of us had on DL30. I have not heard of anybody having that problem on EB01. Can you go into menu=>settings=>about phone and tell me what it says for baseband version and build number?

And which method did you use to get to EB01? You will probably have better luck getting help if you post your question in the thread for the method you used. Sorry.

Might need to wipe you system/data. I had the issue on DL30 where the phone would go to sleep and I could not wake it without a battery pull. I flashed SC 2.0 and 2.1 EB01 and still had the issue. I did a full wipe and installed SC 2.1 again and all is well.

I just downloaded to my pc and flashed using odin. I flashed stock DL09 first.

Ellisz may have a point. Try wiping cache and dalvik cache first to see if that helps. Then if not, wipe data/cache/dalvik cache and reload through cwm. Make sure to backup your apps and anything else you want saved so it will be easier to reload them.

This is done from recovery right?

yes, go into recovery (cwm), first screen will be blue, hit volume down button once to highlight apply sdcard:update.zip, hit the home button. this will take you into red cwm. scroll down to wipe cache partition and hit the power button (home button is how you choose things in bllue, power button in red), after that is done, scroll to advanced and hit the power button, in advanced the third or fourth one down should be wipe dalvik cache. when that is done hit the menu button to go back to the first red cwm menu, reboot system should be highlighted now, hit the power button and wait for your phone to reboot.

You are going to have to pull the battery out of your phone. after you put the battery back in, don't power up your phone, hold down the volume up, volume down, and power buttons at the same time. You will see the samsung logo flash twice. On the second flash, let go all the buttons. This will take you into cwm

I forgot you would be able to do that. when you have the long press power menu, you can't do it when the phone is on, at least it didn't work when I tried.

EDIT - My bad, just tried it again. I was able to do it when the phone was asleep, not when the screen was active.

Maybe I didn't hold the buttons long enough with the screen active. First the volume bar popped up, then the long press power menu, so I just let go of the buttons.
