Can't purchase watch faces for Gear S2 Classic on Note 7 (worked fine on Note 5)

I'd guess it's because anything not from the Play store is recognized as a unknown source. I don't need any paid faces on my S2 right now but I was able to download some free faces with mine - also on VZW. Mine is still set to off for unknown sources in the Gear app.

The problem wasn't with Google Play Store apps, but Galaxy App Store apps. Free watch faces installed fine, as did paid Galaxy phone apps. Just not Galaxy App Store paid watch faces.

... Decided to look around the Galaxy Apps Store app a bit, and found the "Unknown sources" setting, which was turned off. Turned it on and can now purchase watch faces....

Well, that doesn't make sense tho. I looked at my Note 5, and that setting is off. Yet watch face purchasing works fine on it. Still, turning that setting on works on the Note 7. Oh well, at least it's working, even if not for the right reasons, lol.

Thanks for working so hard to find a solution and presenting the clear screen shots. Unfortunately, I did what you said and it didn't work for me. But I'm wondering if there were any other settings you might have tweaked that might have made the difference. Thanks again for sharing what you discovered!

At this point I have no idea what else I might have changed, I was so frustrated between this and the S Note/Action Memo issues that I was messing with more settings than I probably should have, lol! Seriously tho, I don't think I changed anything else related to the watch.
