Can't read mms messages from samsung s3 - sprint

I can not read mms messages on my Samsung Galaxy S3 - Sprint, Have been on the phone all after with regular tech support and advancded and they could help other than tell me I have tyo do a factory reset - want to avoid that. Anybody have any tricks to fix this problem?
