Cant REBOOT-- need help-- :(

I had a problem and fixed it shortly after posting...sorry. I could use some direction with a froyo install though. see more below.

I have gotten myself into a bind and need some help getting out. I was able to root my Fascinate using Dirrk?s EZ Root V0.2. I loaded ROM MANAGER, and figured it might be a good idea to go ahead and make a backup copy of my current rom. Well.... it needed to update profiles or something for my phone and . I clicked yes, it asked me to select my phone... i did... then the phone when blank and a screen came up. This is what it looks like...

apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset

I can scroll up and down between these choice using the volume keys, but I have no idea how to make it engage on any of them, even using the power key. I have tried almost all the options and don't seem to be able to get the phone back to any kind of working order.

What do I do now???? Any help would be welcome!!

in blue recovery you need to hit the home button to select,,,but you can not use Rom manager to get clockwork recovery you will need to use odin to get this to work. what build and baseband are you on ?
check this by going to settings>about phone

this is kernal 2.6.29, baseband S:i500.04 V.EA28, firmeware 2.1-update1,

I am trying to figure out how to flash this crazy phone with froyo... and got a bit ahead of myself. Maybe you can help point me to the right threads. I have it rooted...but now i need to do more. And shortly after i posted my question i figured out that the home button actually worked....lol.... such a noob.

And shortly after i posted my question i figured out that the home button actually worked....lol.... such a noob.

I would use titanium backup instead of nandroid because you cant recovery an eclair nandroid over froyo framework and backup contacts to gmail ...then use this thread which is stickied in the fascinate roms and hacks section

scroll a little further down in the about phone menu and give us your build number also so we know where you are starting from please.

sorry.... build number SCH-I500.EA28
I have DL Titanium and done a complete backup
I have DL Odin... per the link above.
per the instruction from the first link, I have DL "Update.zip".... I assume i need to save the old update.zip file before copying the new one?

do i just follow the instruction and pick the version i want? or is there more to know?? perhaps based on the build number?

Just pick the version you want . If some of the files are compressed so of you dont already have winrar you should get it
