Can't receive Gmail, but I can Send...

For some reason I can't receive Gmail Emails with my HTC Dream but I can send them. I see that I have emails when I log in to my Gmail account on the computer. My Calendar and my Contacts both sync fine. Factory Reset is not a option (nore should I have to do that just to fix email) I can't find any account settings or emails settings in the phone. can any one help me?
