Can't receive SMS on Sprint Note 9 (Verification error 407)

Hi.!

I recently bought a refurbished Note 9 (not from Sprint, but from a third)
I checked it all and everything looked fine... Hours later, checking it more deeply, I found that the IMEI at *#06# didn't match the one in the back glass, but since I could make and receive calls, I dind´t see any problem...

But, now I realize I can't receive text messages.!
Every time I boot my phone, a "Sprint OMADM" notification shows up telling me the phone is being activated, but then it stops 'cause it can't be activated

"Activation incomplete"
Internal error (407)

And that's it... The phone starts and I can make and receive calls and send sms... But I can't receive them...

I usually need those sms to get my verification codes from some apps (and some sms with people that are not in my contacts list)

Anyone has the same problem, or any ideas how to fix it please.?

Welcome to Android Central! Have you asked Sprint about this? Maybe they have to reprovision the phone.

Sounds like a blacklisted phone with a changed motherboard. Sprint might change the IMEI to what's on the back. (Or they might figure it out and close your account, if the IMEI on the back is blacklisted.)
