Can't receive text messages after 7.0 update

I just updated my phone a fee hours ago and I don't really have any problems with it besides the fact that I can't receive messages from my friends who have iPhones, ever since the new update. My friend tried to turn off their iMessage to see if that would work, but I still have not received any messages from them. For now I contact them through Kik. Anyone know how to fix this?

Chat to your service provider in another phone. Maybe you're settings have slipped a little...
