Can't remove Samsung Pay from Gear S2 VZW

So I don't think I'll really use Samsung Pay on my watch but I can't remove it now. But I still get the annoying PIN pop up several times a day even though I've never completely set it up on my watch.

I uninstallled the beta on my S7 Edge but can't get rid of it on my watch or in Gear Manager.

Any ideas?

You can change the security so you don't get the PIN notification. Can't see any reason why you can't uninstall from the watch, but you could so a reset if it bugs you that much.

Just curious about why you would stop using Samsung Pay on your watch. Seems like it would be more convient than using it from your phone.

One reason would be Pay on the watch is beta. Another would be two known vulnerabilities in Pay, one of which allows a third party to capture the electronic payment. This applies to both the watch and phone.

I have the same issue. I cannot get it uninstalled. I tried to uninstall via samsung apps, gear manager, and also Light reset the watch. The app is still there. What I ultimately want is to be able to remove the PIN from the watch. The setting is grayed out since installing Samsung Pay Beta.

Any ideas?

I assume a factory reset would work for the time being? Samsung might release a software update someday that puts SP on the watch even after a hard reset, but for now that's what I'd do if the standard app uninstall method from the Gear manager failed.

I would mention that having a PIN on the watch is probably not a bad thing, but I realize everyone has their preferences.

I found that you can't uninstall it FROM the watch, but you can remove it from the phone side of things and it will disappear from the phone. Then you can go in and remove the pin
