Cant respond to txt from lock screen after update

[Android Central Question]

Just got the S9 on Sprint. Day 1, I was able to reply to type and reply to txt messages from the lock screen (stock app). Updated android on Day 2 (dont know if this is relevant), and cant do it anymore. Pls help?
