Cant see files

So i have a moto g4 and i have set up usb debugging MTP mode and tried everything but when i connect my phone to my computer i cant access any of its files and it dosnt show a drive for my phone at all, how can i fix this?

Mac or Windows? Which version?
Have you checked Moto's website for any drivers your computer needs?
