Can't see my NC internal memory

I had rooted to CM7 but ran into sound issues (lack off) after a nightly build upgrade. So I decided to follow the "Koopakid" thread and installed back to Nook 1.01, unfortunately now Windows doesn't allow access to the internal memory of the nook. When I go to Device Info the Nook shows greyed out available storage 0% free of 0%. All the structure of the normal Nook memory is on my SD card.

Anyone run into this issue before and know how to correct it? I'd like to upgrade to NC 1.20 however the Nook won't recognize the update file from the SD card. Funny thing is I told Calibre to write my epub files to internal memory and it appeared to do so. However I see that the files are really on my SD card under My Files.

Try using the second file from this thread to restore to.

Thanks for the quick reply, however I was able to reset the Nook partition using the 8 boot method. As a side note, my Sandisk 4 GB card wouldn't accept the CMR image using WinImage. Strange as it worked when I had Honeycomb Blue installed on it?

Try Formating the SD card and instead of using the writing option in winimage use the restore virtual hard disk image on physical drive option. (make sure to run winimage as administrator)

I had the same issue and you solution works but here is my problem
i had a blue dot nook color and i full restored from 1.2 to 1.0.1 to root it but it caused my internal
memory to be greyed out and display 0 out of 0
I downgraded because IMO pre 1.2 root is better.
anyway it seems if i want a pre1.2 root i have to sacrifice my internal memory anyone have a solution to this?

Edit also ive updated back to 1.2 and bakc 1.0.1 multiple times it seems that my internal memory shows up and is functional in 1.2 but if i downgrade again it goes grey again showing 0 out of 0

Solved: Holy crap fixed it
here's how:
I updated back to 1.2 so my NC could show the internal memory in device info (mind you i had t reregister so many times)
after that i used clockwork and the original nook color partitioning format to format it to have the pre 1.2 partitioning scheme
then i did a restore to 1.0.1 and there you go my internal memory wasnt greyed out after a restore

You need to repartition. Do a search on XDA and you find the files you need to flash.
