Does anyone else have this problem? The screen does not get bright enough for me to see it outside and I don't remember having this problem before.

When I adjust it to max brightness I just start to make things out.

I agree that it is almost impossible to see the screen in bright daylight. Taking a picture is a challenge, and reading any messages, etc is very difficult.

It can be tough in bright sunlight. It'll get brighter if you turn on adaptive brightness, if you don't already have it on

I've never adusted the brightness on my phone, I've always let the adaptive brightness do the adjusting, and it's been plenty bright for sunny outdoor days. The only drawback is under low light conditions sometimes my phone can't make it's mind up on what level of brightness it wants to pick.

I've never used adaptive brightness. I'm wondering if I should give it a try!

I never remember having any issues and I use adaptive brightness. It’s not going full brightness when I go outside.

Known issues with the pixel 3 devices hopefully Google has a fix soon for such a pricey device.
