Can't send or receive pics

I've had my new g4 for a couple days and can't send or receive any pics. I've tried the stock app and handcent. I'm on ntelos. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to AndroidCentral.

Do you have your data turned on? MMS requires data and won't work on WiFi alone.

Do you have the proper MMS APN for your provider?

This may sound dumb, do you have your data turned on? IF you have both wifi and data on, try disabling wifi and sending one.

I do have data on and have the apns set to default.

I had this problem and returned my first phone. Restored my backup to the new phone and had it again a week later. Did a full reset on the phone (factory specs) and manually re-setup my phone (only used the backup for contacts and images I believe). Haven't had it happen since - so it was something I did somewhere along the line that messed this up. I couldn't tell you what it was, but try resetting your phone back to factory settings and go from there, don't restore settings or apps, only contacts and images.
