I was having the same issues as all of you and after talking to customer service/getting a my phone replaced, multiple Data Resets, and even disabling the Google Hangouts app as some suggested. I think I have found the problem with this Verizon LG G2 not being able to send or receive MMS Messages. After doing a Data Reset and reloading all of my apps and settings I had not had a problem for months then I noticed I had not actived my Verizon Support & Protection App. So, like anyone else wanting to protect their investment. I reactivated the app and guess what..... A week later, sure enough the issue reared it's ugly head again (back to the drawing board). I performed yet another Data Reset, this time disabling the Verizon app immediately to stop it from updating. Guess what... No problems and she's still holding strong. Hopes this helps someone else!
