When I receive a text from one contact and I try to reply, the input box is grayed out and the message "A valid address is required to send this message." I have tried to delete the contact and re-add them and the same thing happens. Any ideas?

Are you using the 1 prefix to the area code?

i had some issues in the past that i called verizon on, they said you may run into issues if you have the +1 in front of the numbers. i deleted those and then poof! no problem

edit: but that doesnt seem like what you are experiencing. hmm...

I actually put the 1 in front of the phone number and my problems are gone. Weird.

I wonder if it has to do with the advanced call settings.
