Can't set wallpaper

Suddenly today, I can't set a wallpaper. What gives!? Live wallpapers work, but when I try to set it to a personal image, all it changes to is the rainbow looking dots that is one of the defaults on the D'Inc. I am not rooted, nor have I received the Froyo update.

Please help.
(Hopefully this post doesn't get lost in all the Froyo news).

Ok, nevermind. 10 minutes later the Froyo update came through on my phone. Fixed the problem. Haha! Here's crossing my fingers for better battery life.

Battery is worse for me....may get better after a few days of charging.

drink less beer for 1 month. use the money you saved to buy the Seidio 3500 battery. honestly, you'll use the phone however you want for as long as you want and never have to worry about battery life again.

Probably didn't let you change wallpapers as it was downloading the update. As for the battery, when I first got the OTA, battery was horrible. Seems something on my phone was keeping it awake all the time. I rebooted, and it hasn't happened again. I'm keeping an eye on what apps I use each day to see if I can figure out what did it.
