Can't stop the Android.process.acore error!

I have an LG G6 with Android 8.0.0. I've tried clearing the cache and data for both contacts and contacts storage then restarting. I also noticed that Android System WebView is disabled. No idea if that matters. I'm competent enough to get myself in trouble so before I mess around too much, I thought I should ask for help. Thanks in advance!

This just started happening to me last night as well... I did some searching and nothing seemed to work. The last "solution" all of the sites say is to do a factory reset and wipe all date.

Well, I did this and the problem just started up again 2 hours later.

I need help too!! Anyone have any luck?

I'm on an LG V30. On the most current OS that Verizon offers.

Android System Webview is disabled by default in Nougat and above, because Chrome assumes that function.

YES!!! Thanks for the info. I was about to make a trip to the VZW store. Thought I has a defective phone. I too wish I had known about this before the two factory resets I ended up having to do for two days in a row. Glad there is a remedy.
