Ok, so I noticed that when I got another g8 phone, that came with Android 10, that I can't swipe down or hit any of the home keys while on a call. How do I change that to where I can?
Are you using full gesture navigation, or are you still using the navigation buttons?
The buttons on the bottom of the screen. Overview, back, and home. Also can't swipe down. It's like it's locked or something.
So how do you end up getting out of it ?On a phone call I try and swipe down and I can't. I try and hit the back button and nothing, try and hit the home button nothing. It's like it's locked and something is preventing me from accessing anything else.
I haven't had this problem. Try using the fingerprint scanner to bring down the notification panel.
So this happens when you're in a call, speakerphone is off, and you've taken the phone away from your ear, correct? I the screen properly turning off automatically when you put the phone against your ear?
So how do you end up getting out of it ?
Ok...try resetting the phone app by long pressing it then tap info , scroll to storage and clear data, cache, force stop itWait til the call ends. That's why it's frustrating and just want this fixed.

Might be a glitch in the app , I would try it see what happensBut I literally just set up the phone. There's not too much on it.
Did you already try Safe Mode? https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/android/lg-g8-thinq/safe-mode-lg-g8-thinq. Even though you just set up the phone, it's still worth testing in Safe Mode.
