Can't tether with hp laptop heeeelpp meee

I rooted my dx2 and downloaded android wifi tether. I want to connect to my HP laptop, it sees the android wifi signal but I can't connect even tho I disabled firewalls on Avast and windows

I would hope you have this issue solved by now and find it odd toy did not get any replies. Anyway...

1. Give PdaNet a try (available on Google Play)
2. Give your X2 some cyanogen 7 love and install cm7dx2 ROM which has wifi tethering built-in (make sure to thank dragonzkiller for making it a reality..., you can snag over at the dx2 forum at xda)
