Can't turn HTC one on

I few updates just happened actually:
I just found out my little brother hid the new charger from me, as a cruel, cruel joke. So it turns out I actually do have one, so I'm going to set that up, and plug it in that way...
Also the phone light started blinking again just a few moments ago, so that's probably a good sign. Will update again in about half an hour.

In the mean time, thank you all again so much for your help!

It appears half an hour was not needed, it's already good to go. I'm sorry for the waste of time, but again, thank you all very much for your help, it is, was, and will be very much appreciated. So for future reference, black berry chargers tend not to charge the phone! Haha

2 days ago my Htc one turned off after a complete battery drain, after putting in charge, the phone couldn't be turn on, I tried button on/off + volume up (20 scds) , I tried main power button+ volume down, no result
Please I need help to fix this issue
