I'm new to android and just bought a Nexus 7 tablet, lots of things I like but really hate keyboard clicks. I've turned off Sounds-Keyboard in Settings and occasionally get silence but mostly it clicks away regardless. Has anyone else had this problem, or know what I can do to fix it? I know I can make the whole thing silent but it kind of defeats the purpose! Sometimes I want sound, just not keyboard clicking. Thanks for your help!

Settings menu, then to Language & Input and click on the slider bar thing to the right of "Android Keyboard" ( assuming that's the keyboard you're using), and uncheck the "Sound on Keypress" box....

btw, if you scroll to the bottom of that last page and go into "Advance Settings" you can adjust the volume of the clicks also...

I don't HAVE those settings (only Google keyboard with no input options) on my new Nexus 7 - now what?
