Can't turn on profile sharing

I just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S5 to the latest operating system, and I am having problems activating the Profile Sharing feature. When I started the procedure, it just spins and says "In Progress". I did get a text with a validation code, but it never asks me for the code. Eventually I get the error "Validation Failed" but it I try to turn Profile Sharing on again, same thing, it spins with "In Progress" then "Validation Failed". Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From whom? What are we discussing here? (The phone couldn't have sent you a text. Well, it could have, but almost no one writes apps to do that because there's no need for it.)

I believe the text was sent from my Samsung cloud account, to verify my phone number or something like that.
