cant uninstall app it keep saying you cant not perform this action on a system service

i recieved a txt from dhl to follow this link to track the parcel. an app came up which i cant not uninstall it just keeps saying i can not preform this action on a system servive. but now people are ringing me saying i have rang them and i havent been on my phone can some one help me please

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Were you expecting a package from DHL? That's a common ploy to install malicious apps. Did the link ask you to install an app?

That's number-spoofing - coldcallers trying to sell something, and hiding behind someone else's number.

Actually, since the OP's contacts are calling the OP to let them know they're being called by the OP's number, I'm guessing the OP unwittingly installed some malware related to a bogus text, and that malware has accessed the Contacts and is sending out spam or possibly worse to all of them.

I'd make sure your important data is backed up and then do a factory reset.

Welcome to Android Central! If you read the ZDNet article I previously posted, the recommendation is to do a factory reset of the phone, and then make sure you don't restore any previous backups.

It's actually in the "looking for something else" section at the bottom but the way explained by OP is easy to follow, even for me who is nearly tech illiterate.
