Can't update Galaxy S3

Recently I bought an unlocked Galaxy S3 GT-I9300. The OS remains the 4.0.4 version. I've tried updating via Kies already but it says I already have the latest firmware which, according to Kies, is: PDA:LG2 / PHONE:LG2 / CSC:LG2 (ANC). Can anybody tell me why it won't update to 4.1.1, let alone 4.1.2?

Is there no other way? I'm worried that rooting my phone may void the warranty.

The only other option is to wait until Samsung officially releases the new version for you specific region (CSC)

But, apparently, Samsung has already released 4.1.2 for my phone's region. See, my CSC is ANC which stands for Argentina, but there's also ARO (also for Argentina) and that one's been updated to 4.1.2. To my knowledge, both are for unlocked phones and yet only one has been updated. Why is that?

This would be the best answer just be patient and wait for the official release of the version on your area.
