Can't use my edge panel.

Since yesterday afternoon I have not been able to use my edge panel with sliding my finger across it. I can make it pop out when I use the spen. Did I change something by accident??? Did something change on its own??? Anyone know how to fix this???
Any and all help would greatly be appreciated

Go in to settings and make sure the Edge panel is turned on. If it is on turn it off then on again.

Yeah, I tried that. Still does it. Even shut down the phone.
Last randomly I was able to side swipe the edge.

Still does it randomly. Thinking it might be due to the screen protector.

Try it without the screen protector. I couldn't type well with one on mine.
