Can't use OK Google on 5g ace

Just what they title says - tried to get voice match and can't train Google to my voice because it can't hear me. If I press the microphone on Android Google app and speak, it can hear me fine but not when I try to train Google to listen to my "OK Google".

Anybody else have their problem with the Moto one 5g Ace?

Does the secondary mic work on other things, like speakerphone?

Also, go to Settings>Apps, select Google, then Permissions, and make sure Microphone permission is turned on.

Try reset the Google app, long press >tap info>scroll to storage and clear data then force close .

An update to the Google app from the playstore fixed my problem! Now it responds to "OK Google" !
