Can't use right 1/4 of screen, how to fix?

I was welding at work and a hot piece of slag melted a 1mm hole in the bottom left of the glass which cracked it and now I have no response from the right 1/4 of the screen. Even worse, the back button (which is just above the hole) will randomly press itself. The actual screen still looks beautiful so i'm thinking I need a digitizer and glass? Where's the best place to get these? My phone is a Verizon version so it's a VS985, so will it work with a digitizer that says for a LG G3 D850 D855 LS990?

Thanks.

This says the two versions are the same....scroll down aways to just under where it says Availability:

But how confident are you that it's only the display that's been damaged? Or am I wrong to assume that the hot speck went right through into the phone?

It melted through the non-screen portion of the bottom where it's just black on a verizon phone. I looked at how to remove the LCD from the digitizer and I don't have the tools necessary so I guess I'll get the whole thing.

Where's the best place to buy the right thickness double sided tape?

I was looking at a replacement digitizer as a way for all the people who are upset with the Verizon logo. This would remove it, I believe. Looks fairly easy to install as well.
