Can'the pair virgin htc evo 3d with 2010 honda crv

I try to pair my virgin mobile htc evo 3d with my 2010 honda crv, but the screen to enter the pass code doesn't open on the phone. Bluetooth is on & it's visible, but it won't show the code screen. Any help?
