Capacitive button light setting?

A family member just got a Note 5 today due to the sudden death of his Note 3 (turns itself off and won't turn on again until after a very long battery pull, then turns itself off again after a short time - had to attempt SmartSwitch twice after it turned off in the middle of the first time, just for stuff from the internal card - thankfully, contacts and calendars are Google and the other important app has an account it backs up to), so I have been setting it up for him.

I am wondering if there's a setting to lengthen the amount of time that the capacitive buttons are lit? I couldn't find one anywhere I thought to look, but the default setting is annoyingly short IMO.

Go to setting, display, then screen timeout

Galaxy Button Light in the app store. Settings include default, always on, always off and a slider to vary the time.

Also if in power saving mode it will turn the button lights off.
