Capacitive Buttons Not Lighting Up in Landscape!!! This issue is system wide I'm running 4.08.605.3 the latest official gingerbread from VZW.

I'm having the same issue only in portrait. Started last night. A bit coincidental don't you think.

Not having this issue. Typing this in landscape and the buttons are lit.

By chance are you rooted? I loaded a battery indicator mod a while back that killed my capacitive button lights, and foolishly had not done a nandroid prior to that. However, I was able to reload the ROM thru ROM manager, without wiping data, and it restored the battery indicator and the capacitive button lights as well. Everything else was fine, including data. Otherwise, you could try a factory reset...

I'm running the latest stock update but its the same behavior on all roms...

Okay I just realized this is a crappy hardware issue by tapping and putting pressure on them suddenly they lite up and went black a few more taps and they are back to bright this sucks but at least you can toggle with a couple hard taps...
