Since the most recent Android update, I have a problem with the BT connection in my car.
Everything plays fine from the phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) to the car via paired Bt, but even when the radio in the car is off (but car running), the phone will not play media/music by itself. The phone does show that it sees the car BT, and allows an audio out selection – and choosing the phone seems to work, but does not (same if headphones are plugged into the phone).
It will play about ½ - 1 second of music, and then revert to paused again. The car radio if selected to the phone, shows it as “mute”. It can unmute and play through BT, but then switching the radio to AM, FM or off, the phone will not play by itself. This happens with all music, or streaming media from a web page. Other audio plays fine (google maps).
If I turn the car off, then the music will play again fine from the phone, as it does in all other circumstances.
