I have the dual port (one QC2.0, one standard 2A) Aukey car charger for my M8 and it works pretty well. My only issue is it seemed like the ports loosened up and the cable will occasionally vibrate out. Using Gsam, I could see 1-1.25A on a standard charger at idle. With QC2.0 it would easily hit 2-2.25A. It still read it at the true battery voltage, not the stepped up voltage from the input.
One odd thing I noticed is at 99%, it would take quite a long time to get the final 1% in. I'm curious if that's happening on the M9 too since I'm considering upgrading. Under 75% it runs full throttle. It slows down as normal, but it'll take 10-15 min sometimes just for that last bit. I have also noticed that the increased heat it generated would cause it to throttle to a trickle charge at times. If that happened, it was sometimes better to swap to the standard charging port to eliminate the heat. So I'm curious if there's much extra heat generated on the M9 with QC2.0.
